Type of Employment: Full-Time, Temporary Compensation: $21 per hour, pays every Thursday Weekly Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm Expected Start date: Immediately Job Description We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician for our multi-family property. The Maintenance Technician will assist with the overall maintenance functions of the property, including repairs and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, structural facilities, and grounds of the property. Responsibilities: Replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc. Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform necessary manual repairs, such as fix locks, replace windows etc. Interior/Exterior Painting Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance Perform general carpentry and drywall repairs Maintain and repair appliances, pool and pool equipment Dispose of litter and debris whenever encountered Other duties as outlined by the property manager or property supervisor Comply with OSHA regulations Comply with all state and federal regulations relating to waste disposal, hazardous chemical labeling and handling, etc. Skills: At least 1 year of experience as maintenance technician Basic skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma or equivalent Must pass criminal background check AAA APARTMENT STAFFING provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
