Shifts 7a-3p & 3p-11p Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public areas within our Hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and visitors. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hospitality setting. Responsibilities Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms. Perform custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning tasks. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner. Drive the shuttle to and from the airport as needed Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus. Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service. Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
