TEXARKANA, Ark. — Texarkana law enforcement has issued a be-on-the-lookout alert for suspects believed to be connected to a robbery at Farmers Bank & Trust on Arkansas Boulevard.
According to radio dispatch traffic, the suspects were last seen leaving the area of 1101 Arkansas Boulevard — the site of the Farmers Bank & Trust branch — and traveling southbound on Jefferson Avenue.
The vehicle is described as a 2017 silver Hyundai Elantra with tinted windows, occupied by two men. One suspect was reported wearing a medical mask; the second was reported wearing a black or white hoodie and a medical mask.
Dispatch traffic indicates the suspects are considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised not to approach the vehicle. Anyone who sees it or has information that could help investigators is urged to call 911 or their local police agency immediately.
The alert follows an armed robbery reported earlier this week at the same bank, where Texarkana Arkansas Police said two suspects threatened an ATM technician and took an undisclosed amount of cash. TAPD's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
