SEVEN YEARS LATER, TEXARKANA POLICE RENEW APPEAL IN CONNELLA STREET DOUBLE HOMICIDE

TEXARKANA, Texas — Seven years after two cousins were found shot to death inside a Texarkana home, police say they still do not know who killed them — and they are asking the public to think back.

On the evening of July 21, 2019, Texarkana Texas Police officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Connella Street on a report of a shooting. The call came in around 10:43 p.m. Inside, officers found Patrice Williams and Ensley Robinson, both dead of gunshot wounds.

Williams was 34 and lived in Texarkana, Texas. Robinson was 38 and lived in Texarkana, Arkansas. He has been identified in some records and reporting as Endsley Robinson III. The two were first cousins.

No one has been arrested in the seven years since.

"Seven years later, we are still working to find answers," the department said in a statement released Thursday. "All that time, our detectives have continued to investigate this case by conducting interviews, following up on tips, and repeatedly reviewing evidence. Despite those efforts, we have not been able to determine who was responsible."

Detectives worked through the night of the shooting, and the bodies were sent to Dallas for autopsies. Investigators said at the time they had not determined a motive.

In a 2024 interview with KSLA, TTPD Det. Cliff Harris said the scene suggested the two were caught off guard, with no indication they had fought back. Harris said Williams was still seated on the couch with a bowl of food.

Police say the smallest recollection could matter.

"Sometimes the smallest detail or a piece of information that may not seem important can make a difference," the department said. "If you know something about this case, we need to hear from you."

The department is also asking people with no information at all to share the appeal, in the hope it reaches someone who does.

Anyone with information can call the Texarkana Texas Police Department at 903-798-3116.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP, which is 903-793-7867, or online at www.p3tips.com. Crime Stoppers tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.

"Patrice Williams and Ensley Robinson's families have waited long enough for answers," the department said. "Please help us bring them the justice and closure they deserve."
